finally switching from Mac OS 9.2 up to X... getting me all nervous... upgrading various software... what are people's experience of the Mac Mail client? I've been using Outlook Express, but I think it's time I changed (I'm Mac to the bone)... can you import your old mail/address book from Outlook?

Entourage is a cool program.

I like Entourage better than Apple's Mail, but it kept conflicting with IE (they share a preference file and Entrouage kept overwriting some of IE's preferences)
I still use Entourage, but switched to Safari for a browser.
OS X on a G3 is dog slow, but if you have a G4 (or 5!) you'll be much happier...

okay... I have Office, so maybe I'll give Entourage a try for a while... got a nice 1.25GHz G4, and it seems zippy enough... also got a load of dodgy (but to me essential) old music production related software which I know is never gonna be happy in X tho...

...and any more advice welcome... I like the idea of the iChat, especially the new AV version when it comes along, so I kind of want to buy into the whole i/Mac deal and start using their address book as my one and only contact manager too... any thoughts on the wisdom of that?
