The new store is supposed to be insane. They tour down a 3-story GAP store and rebuilt it entirely into 4 floors now.
Supposedly it's the biggest Apple store yet.

give me your email and I can send you the invite they sent me.

i loved that Gap.

I'd check it out, although I might curse and stuff.
What GAP did they tear down? I doubt the flagship store in Michigan that was white.
Do you have to have an invite? info link?

I didn't know they got rid of that Gap. I worked part time at Banana Republic on Michigan for over a year, one of the managers was also manager for Gap.
Wonder where they moved it to?Should be a cool store for Apple. I'll probably check it out.

"Join us for a special opening-night musical performance with a guest musical artist and a DJ spinning tunes on the iPod, including new tracks from the iTunes Music Store."
spinning tunes on the ipod... :(

I DJ for a living and I find that quite offensive.

the cafe thing they'll have is kind of cool, but why not go full blown and have a bar, cool lounge type of place too?
I'm hoping that the inside is all curved and stuff, no right angles.
