well hulja... not sure if you were trying to be funny or just being a jargon... either way... if we WERE to give up design and become nude street mimes (i know that's always been a dream of MINE)... salesmen, owners of companies, developers and other dipshits who know nothing about design would take over and the result would be a world full of advertisements with stargate rings around the product. in essence... shit.

After renaming all my clients today Motherf*cker 1, 2, etc...I've been entertaining new career ideas. So far I've come up with Starbucks coffee puller or starting a White Stripes kinda band. hhmm....mini skirt, big boots and a cocktail drum kit is awfully appealing.

go for the band...my friend brian is a designer and when he got laid off he tried to get a job at starbucks...they said he was overqualified and didnt hire him...apparantly a college degree wont get you every job you want

If that fails, then I'll just settle for uni lecturing whilst freelancing on da side - keep ma brain active with conceptual ideas, whilst nabbing them from beguiling students - as what I believe the lecturers do on my course anyway!
Another idea. Fuck working 4 big-ass design agencies peeps. Set up ya own company amongst ya friends/contacts & uncut their ass to clients when pitching. Being small is the new Big!

seems a trend, the video i am working on is a lot more interesting and fun to do, it involves location shooting (outside..woohoo!) and quite a bit of motion graphics (3d/2d animation)..
i hope to specialize more in that field, and pick up photography again.
mainly to get outside more... or at least further away from the radiation that fries my brain aka my computer.
