text in flash

In flash mx, is there any way you can get the text to look like the text in 'antialias' mode when your working. I am using an arial 10 and when I preview it the font changes back and is all smoothish like the text when put in 'antialias text'.

neither worked. I want the font to look like the font on this site when I preview it in flash. It looks perfect when I have the antialias option chosen from the view menu.Only when I preview it does it turn into the text from the regular antialias option view.

You can actually get bitmap fonts specially design for flash that don't antialias, unfortunately arial isn't one of them but there might be an alternative.

See. their website uses arial 10 in their news table. its in flash. its so simple. why can't my text look like that..

Their site doesn't use arial, it is using one of their alternatives that looks very similar, FFF Urban I think.

in the type properties, try making the text type dynamic. works for me.
