they didnt steal your code, they traced the layout size, transitions and tick marks. thats the only real similarities i see.
if its an agency the higer ups probably never saw your site and have no idea that they look similar. its probably some young kid. send them an email asking them whats up.

I don't see it
- paulrand0
just kidding

8dot you dont get it either.
code smode.. they didnt have to do anything that difficult. gotoAndPlay... anyone could rewrite that...
they stole the whole layout and put in different pictures. c'mon gimmie a break. its certainly not just inspired.
its amazing that you can say "thats the only similarities i see"
and you know.. there is a way to steal code from swfs now. how do YOU know they didnt do that either? its so easy.
people payin the rent off of other people's sweat is just wrong. grrr

send a letter telling them to expect a letter from your lawyer if the site is not taken down within a certain amount of time...
if this is your livelyhood, you gotta stand up for your rights to not get ripped by a COMPANY that is using YOUR DESIGN to ATTRACT CLIENTS and MAKE MONEY...it is like YOU did tonnes of FREE work for THEM so THEY could PROSPER OFF IT.
hope you liked my use of caps.

send them an envelope with no return address, and their address written with your non-dominant hand in crayon. on the back put the instructions 'sniff here' and 'shake violently'.
then inside state that one of the little fockers there ripped your site and if it is not taken down asap a 'real' letter will appear with some nice 'white stuff' in it.
oh, and be sure to mention 'AND NO IT'S NOT COCAINE!'
seriously - go onto their site, find the email of the boss/owner/info (usually goes to the head sales guy or owner) and shoot them a brief email and a link to your site. suggest legal action if they do not remove the rip.
- shellie0
whats that supposed to mean.. nick
are you being a little weener? because if you are i suggest you spend a few months trying to think of a nice site.. then you can make it and then hand it over to a design firm for free so they can make money.
weather it is a real firm or not.. theyre trying to pass as one. and thats the point.
i would be more than pissed and take plent of action against someone intending to make money off of work I got nothing from.
we're all supposed to try atleast to be professionals here.

i get it plenty. maybe if i didnt get javascript:storfonstre(); when i tried to open your site in a new tab i could compare them better. :)
their navigation is laid out differently, yeah, the other stuff is the same. but they didnt steal your artwork and you can get code to do the same bounce effect on all the open source sites. its nothing new.
write them an email. ask them whats up.

hah! nope.. wasnt being a weiner.. it just seems you're a lot more passionate about taking action against these guys than driftlab
i'd have to agree with you though.. whole-heartedly
