Genuine Fractals. I saw a post in the PBS referring to this plug-in. I've used it.

oops, prematurely posted. anyway. It works pretty well. I used it all of the time when I worked for a magazine. It only allows you double the size and resolution. Anything more than 200% still loses quality.

well, as i said in the PBS post it's not magic, but anything more than 200% still gives you much better results than regular PS size increase; namely the lines remine sharp and edges retain their clarity.

don't get me wrong, i loved it. You say "hi-res" to some people and they turn a screen shot into 300 DPI and send you something the size of a postage stamp. It came in very handy.

you can do the same thing in flash as far as I can remember
import your shit in flash, export image and dimension it with 7999 width or height depending on your shit that you imported and voilà.
