18k + you'll be very ok in London.
16k you'll live - but dont expect too much fun.
I'm very sorry, but any juniors who expect over 20k for their measly efforts has their head up their ass. We had over 100 applicants to our last junior position and these graduates were asking for more money than the senior staff are getting. And believe me - even a hint of disgust at the 17k we were offering ended up with CV's going bin-ward. Do you want a job or not? That's the reality of it.

thanks, and sometimes people most be realistic, I know, for example, that my value is much higher... but sometimes you have to prove it first.
