cool, whats it like when you're out walking, does it drop a signal.
i just bought these form mine, unbelieable sound, went to a few hifi shops and all recomended them as the best portable phones.

i don't know, but when i'm out walking - i just use headphones.
in the car though it's great - nicer than the tape with cable thing, and i'm in the office at the moment listening - crystal clear, range about 15 ft i just went about 30 ft and it started to hiss, but it's kind of nice that you can tune any radio to listen to ipod.
if you are in the states though, i think there are difficulties finding a free fm frequency in some areas

on the same site they do do a radio signal reciever [a radio] that clips onto the ipod remote

So pilot, if i was in a cafe with that thing and the radio was on say 98fm, could i set it up so that i could play my ipod over that frequancy and have something on my ipod play in the cafe...

It has to be set to an empty channel... yeah it works pretty good for what it is- I was driving and on a little road trip and my buddy behind me set his channel to the same as mine and he picked up my ipod- but you lose frequency if your too far- It's not really made to go 50 ft but works surprisingly well up front. A friend of mine does this fake news cast type videos- we set up audio on the ipod last weekend with him talking about this another friend of ours getting arrested for cubian cigar smuggling... I was in the car with my girl and pretended to flip through the radio stations and suddenly "find" that news cast- she was so fooled- ah geeky fun...

you can get it to broadcast over, but you have to be very close to the arial and also, the reeception is appalling, it is best when broadcasting in the middle of a range of unused frequencies.
