Somebody was telling me about a new atari that can be hooked up to your tv and you can choose from all the old game... Anybody hear of that? If so give me a link. i want one.

there's one you can get in UK from gadget shop.. it is a old-school joy-stick which contains about 5 games, asteroids etc - quite cool, and only 25 uk pounds.

i saw one advertised. all the games are loaded inside the joystick.

i read that Atari was gonna start making more games.. but not a new system.. they made The Matrix game i think

yep... what recpos said. my girlfriends brother has one (here in the U.S.) he bought it for 20 bucks and it has a bunch of the old games in the joystick. you just plug it in and select from the menu what game you want to play.
its bad ass.

atari no longer makes consoles but they are a game developer and publisher. much like sega is today.

engagestudio is right. infogames bought it. arent they a french company? They bought it long ago but they finally changed their name to atari because the name is more well known.
theyre just a game publisher now. s'all.
but yeah i yeard of that joystick thing. someone was telling me you can get them at gadget and silly shops like spencer's gifts.

infrogames got a hold of the name which they developed the new matrix game under as i understand it.
if we are now who we were then, what would we be then if we weren't looking to be what we are now, then?

i have one. it's alright. more of a novelty than anything else.
i got mine at urban outfitters.

Yeah, I got one too. I don't like playing Breakout on it, because the old joystick was better (the one with the circular knob that turns 360 degrees.) But it is fun to play those games again none the less.
