I know this is a bit of a liberty, but does anyone have an MP3 of the Theme from Zorba the Greek. I believe it's on the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels soundtrack amongst others.
I need it today for my wife who is a primary school teacher and wants it for a class project. Any help greatly appreciated.
(PS. I realise I can buy it but to be honest I don't particularly want it. It's just for the project)

I see what you mean Carver. My patently transparent request for the "theme from Zorba the Greek" was a great smokescreen for erm... asking for a copy of the "theme from Zorba the Greek". That's exactly what I was after so I concocted a ridiculous sham, wherein I asked if anyone had a copy. I can't believe I thought I'd get away with it!!
The "theme from Zorba the Greek", which is what I asked about (I didn't ask for the Lock Stock soundtrack. It's shit, why would I want it. The theme just happens to be on it), is just an odd but well known tune, famous chiefly for the fact that it starts slow and repetitively speeds up. My wife, being a music teacher, wanted to use it to in a lesson for primary school kids to teach them about rhythm and tempo. As we didn't seem to be able to hire a copy in time and I was loathe to buy it on the basis that I really don't want the song, I thought someone here might be able to sort out a version at very short notice. Clearly I was mistaken. I wouldn't normally have asked but I thought there might be an outside chance someone would have it.
However, in order to save yourself from sounding a lot like an idiot, it might pay to read the post a bit more carefully before attempting a sarcastic reply, which it would appear from your post, is something you are ill equipped to do and as such might want to avoid trying in the future.
