I just moved to Palo Alto, CA from Chicago, and I'm looking for free wifi spots in the area. (although my place is wifi'ed, i need to get out of my apartment during the day)
http://www.nodedb.com doesn't seem to be doing the trick.
any recomendations on how to find the free wifi's? (other than drive around town with my powerbook open looking for networks!)

i have my own wifi you flamer. but working in my apartment is not all it's cracked up to be.
but i am now sitting on some random bench in Palo Alto (University & Cowper) and am connected perfectly (and for free).
Conference calls are a bit loud with traffic and all, but at least i'm in the sun!
thanks for the other links. i'll check them out.
