php help!!

    I have a ph doc that generates an automatic notification email the message is on a variable $msg="" but I need it to print some special characters like iacute and so on, I haven't worked it out, it doesn't take any html tags or anything. I hope some php guru is reading the forums today! THANKS for the help!
