Portfolio Image Size?

Fellow NTers, I'm having a doubt here:
What do you consider to be a good image size to show some pictures in an online portfolio?
I was thinking of something in the vicinity of 360x270.What do you think? Bigger?Slightly less?

Guess it depends on the purpose. If you're relying on it for job interviews, it sounds like you'd need bigger pics. Otherwise, sounds okay.

I'm making a version with only 1024X768 pics soon, maybe a little higher, since most ADs have huge screens at insane high resolution.

I think for some special items I could insert a popup link to display a bigger version (problably in the print/illustration section). Since I want this to reach the biggest audience possible, not only the 1600x1200 screen resolution design/achitecture people...
