just wondering what most of you do for wallpaper/desktops?
Make your own? or download?

i've got an x-men 2 one up right now. the one before it was the innards of a gt4. it was nice... something to shoot for.

i generally make my own...or grab interesting source material online, and fuck around in photoshop..
case in point, my desktop on k10K's 'ondisplay' area...
used the image from a matthew barney poster my wife and i saw in germany last summer..at the museum Ludwigin anycase, if you can't think of something to create on your own, the ondisplay area of k10k is a pretty awesome place to find excellent desktops...

I took a picture of the wall behind my monitor, and used it as a desktop.
It looked like the monitor was transparent.

I change wallpapers too often, every 2, 3 days, so I download, mostly, from httt://www.customize.org

I usually use my own photography or use nothing at all. Wallpapers can really eat up RAM sometimes.
Hope I'm not getting off subject, but do any of you have to design wallpapers for clients (and wonder if anyone ever downloads them)?
- Anetalaya0
question is: have you ever downloaded the kind of wallpapers you are talking about?
I haven't... or I did once but changed it an hour later... has to be really, really good and not look to much like advertising.

Yeah, the fun part there is trying to explain minimalism to the client :)
