and for that matter:
2A is on top of the game, they do a lot of PR, they want to be well-known... well, then you can expect critique. simple as that.
and i love it both, both sides.

But I still mean what I said about the silly, pretentious way that launch pparty is presented. Why not just say it like PIXELRANGER (look, all-caps) said it: There'll be drinks and music, come to the party.
Tat way, they are not claiming they will change anything and show us the future and whatnot. They sound like a fucking gangstah rappah. "Me got tha booties, me got tha bling bling me is tha future blah blah blah"...

Do you read many press releases for media products (videogames/films/music)? Watch commercials for new games, films, etc?

Bill Gates also sells crap to unaware clients.
btw: i think it's offensive to say the stuff of 2A is templates, they have a style, ad a lot of technical knowledge, i just think their marketing is just a bit funny/unusual for this industry.. that's all.
