Help with Mac OS X

  ok guys this is very strange
  i was working on flash and i finished my SWF file and then i created a projector from that file
  Now everytime i want to open a SWF file my file opens! and the other file (the one i wanted to open initially) opens beneath the other.
  i have deleted the file ,restarted the mac and it still opens the other file!!!!!!!!
  how can i fix this????????
