This is my problem, I don't like the job I have right now, I will quit by the end of june. And I need a change in my life, a BIG change. I want to move somewhere else, Europe or Australia, but I don't know if I'm ready too, I mean I want to, but I don't know if my work is good enough to European and australian standards. And that's where I need your help, I need your opinion, since you are total stranger and will give me a honest answer. Be as hard as you want, I can take it, becuase I need to know if I stay a little longer in this country, to get more experience, or I start looknig for job oportunities somewhere else. Kepp in mind I only have a little more than a year of commercial experience. Thanks in advance.

well Anetalaya, i like your work..
but the connection to your site is pretty slow...so it does take awhile to see any of it..
which is a shame...
i found myself getting frustated waiting to see the next page...what i did see tho, was quite good..
in many cases tho, the tiny thumbnails of your designs didnt really do them justice..and in some cases made me 'not' want to click on them to see them bigger..
i did anyway, and was suprised to see work that was quite good.that is kind of a bad thing...
when i see a thumbnail, i should be intrigued and want to click on it...my reaction shouldn't be 'uh..i'll pass on that one..doesn't look to interesting.'
so, all in all...great work,
but i'd look into your internet connection stuff..find out why it's so slow..
and i'd re-think the thumbnails...
either re-do them, and make them better...or do away with them all together, and just have the name of the client....

as always if you are considering relocating to design somewhere else, besides your design ability/ambition, money will be an issue, it will be tough breaking into new markets regardless of where you move to. Are you looking for FT work with a company or freelance? if you looking for FT, then what is your focus? print, web, pub. etc. If it's web you may want to build a sleeker fast loading site, if it's print you better have a nice book, but either way moving and starting a new can be exciting and can push your design abilities to a better level... i've done it a few times and it has been great for my work... i say, if you up for a life change move to a location of your choice, it's like digging a deep hole jumping in it and trying to figure out how to get out... only then your true character will come out!

well, thanks both of you for the advice!
The thumbnail part is very important, never consider it, so I'll rework them, cause is a very important thing!!...
yes I know the slowness of my website, is just that when I was about to move it to a paid service, the currency
control on the country started, so I can't buy a domain or hosting outside Venezuela, so I've been looking for a good free hosting but didn't find any good one yet.I need two things then, a good portfolio online and offline, since I do both things print and web...
Sometimes I think is scary to move to a different country (againg) and start over alone, but maybe that's the good part of it, it will bring out my character, as you said

sorry to be so persistent, but I really want some feedback in my life at this moment.
