dontcha jsut love it when you spend f-ing hours doing a site for someone, setting up a css file and making sure everything is perfect on the site, only for some cunt in the fucking company who thinks they know all about web design to go and throw fucking font tags around updating text, and completely ignoring the css...or say..using frontpage to try and update some contact details and therefore knocking out all my FUCKING JAVASCRIPT.
LEAVE IT ALONE you useless IDIOTS.
I am going to have to start saying that.....

Yes, I feel your pain.

it is your job and your duty to take up the ways of voodoo.
start collecting stray client hair / possesions and place dolls in your drawer for any such moments.
Along with some knives and other sharp implements.

hee, hee yeah because your client has employed a complete idiot! I hate that even more when you align everything on the site perfectly and then some secretary type using FrontPage F's it up even more!

When they call you because your Javascripts don't work and the type looks like crap...
Make sure you bill in a pain in the ass fee.
- skonge0
can you make the type bigger?

I know how you feel. At the moment I have a client called Norma telling me how to do my job... what the f*uck does a pensioner know... very, frustrating!!!

Yeah I made a XHTML site and my client started using ampersands all over the place. How can I prevent this. It messes up my XHTML validation. I dont hink I can get him to type in the entity code for every ampersand he wants to use?

You are probably going to have to just accept that fact that the site isn't going to validate.
Or charge a ton of money for some kind of CMS that will correctly parse those ampersands (or any symbol) when the form is sent. If such a thing exists, my programming skills are very basic so I don't know.

The best part is when they make you spend days formating the text, making you redo it over and over again, and when it goes live or whatever, it's a shipped product and stuff all the formating is gone off for shit.
Hurray quality control.
