next week i will visit new york, i have the obvious palces to visit, museums, soho, ampares state etc etc.
i need sugestions about another good places to visit, libraries for designers? djs clubs? tech installations (art i mean)? concerts?

goto Zakka...fresh ass book design in manhattan I think...do a search for it in the PV-AN you can spend tons of cash there and books and such.

There's a tiny little art/design store in SoHo. I can't remember the name of it but I've mentioned it here before and others have known. WHAT IS IT? It is wonderful!

action figures? not a lot of, i prefer electronic music (funkstorung, dj shadow, aphez twin), video installations, web art, things like that

check out the cooper hewitt design museum, just a couple blocks up from the guggenheim.

there's also this crazy installation at the trump building on madison and 56th. it looks like a giant sperm, and you go inside and put headphones on and stare into some digital projection stuff.
and it's free. i forget the artist's name, but i think she' s japanese.
