Help! I'm a PC user!!
That aside I'm having probs at the moment running a lot of my sound editing programs. While they work well initially once a song gets really intense - eg has a lot of automation or what-have-you it kicks the bucket and I find myself exporting tracks to see where they can be fixed.
Was pretty much just wondering if there was some way of allocating more ram to sound programs whether it be reason or logic audio ? (not unlike how one can do it on a mac - so i'm told anyhoo)
Thanks a bunch!!

Dude, I got the same problem, ESPECIALLY when I run Reason. My CPU is like BOOM! And throws off the original work I am doing, it really sucks. I need to upgrade or start working on a MAC.

yeah, mac will do it :)

Although I'm a PC bitch... "get a mac". I only use my Mac for ProTools.

ProTools for Mac is much much better, so is Logic

sometimes my PC will do this as well.
not sure how to fix it other than... "use a mac"
so, ignore my post as it really has no new info to offer.

reinstall your os, then install only the sound progs that are giving you trouble. if you still have the same problems, contact the software company, because it really has little to do with your os. if you are not having the problems then it only means you had other sofware installed that was conflicting with your sound editing software.
