No questioning the music in reloaded was utter pap and totally unrelated to the setting (?)
What would you have used instead if it was up to you?

I thought it was nice, kinda bland, but Mister Dougan reminded us of the first Matrix movie soundtrack, I totally enjoy his Furious Angel and Mona Lisa by Juno Reactor.

Hmmm... It sounded to me like like bland techno/trance from the early 90's - strange choice for a movie set 100s of years from now.

I agree that the majority of the music was average at best, but it took every ounce of control to not stand up and start dancing at the rave scene.

hmmn, i thought that rave scene was a complete waste of time... looked more like a booze commercial than part of the movie. when i think of all the footage they probably editted out, it makes me sad to think someone thought it was a good idea to keep that in... could be that i'm just not much of a raver though.

it really added to the plot. there was so much i didnt understand about the matrix until i saw the rave scene... the gratuitous hair flailing and nipple shots were especially enlightening.

that rave scene like many other scene was totally unnecessary.
That rave scene was one of the shittest thing.
And to be honest it was a total disappointment, anyday was the first matrix better then the Matrix Reloaded. And hopefully they can finish the series of with a blast.

would have used cyber punk music- like the actual matrix score music, though more developed throughout the whole film.
they should push the cyber punk eliment more- and less of the big-budget-hollywood action feel.

Soundtrack I'll agree was OK, certain songs grew on me while others repelled.
As for the rave scene, I love it. You have to think this is a society thats been rebuilt and is sort of back to the basics, but has been onslaughted with technology. These people have that tribal primal thing going on, they're this close to utopia and equally close to destruction. Festival it is! It made me understand the civilization that is Zion. Without much impurity.
