There`s always a problem with them. A dll file is missing, some directx shit or some other fucking problem.
And if u try to fix it it gets more fucked up.
just bought IGI2(fps game) and guess what, it didn`t work. Seems like my MSI GForce4 4200 128 ddr ram isn`t good enough. Fuck that.
U have to be a fucking cumputer wizard to actually be able to use a computer these days.
Fortunately I do all my design work on my IMac. My sweet imac, i love that machine. Never had a problem with it.
The only thing the PC has ever given me is high blood pressure.
It`s not fucking worth it.

cause IGI 2 isn't that great..
and i had exactly the same problem as you... on an Imac.. i was so pissed of with it i gave it to my mum..
now i have a PC that works perfect.. it just takes a bit og tuning that's all..

thats why people pay more for their macs.
i, however, am cheap and have a homebuilt vector love machine, and a geek to fix it :) i just have to pay him with sex every now and then. :-D

Nothing like the traditional arts. Nothing like hands on experience. who knows how to feather together photos hard form? No one...lets just photoshop it. Don't get me wrong, love using digital programs but this whole computer phenomena is bogus. boo-urns I say.

Hardcore egotism there archinoid. I know how to feather photos in 'real life', and I'm sure I'm not the only one on here who knows how to do it as well, high school photography. Its not nice to belittle. But on the PC Mac thing, its all personal preferrence and wallet size. My preferrence being pay 650 for close to top of the line PC instead of 1200 for a middle of the road mac. And I do agree its all about your attitude. I work happily on a MAC at work and PC at home on freelance. Don't be bitter. Thats that.
P.S. My PC has been up without crashing for three weeks, and the MAC (dual 1ghz G4) crashes a couple times a day, on a good day.
