I've just installed OS X Server on my desktop system.
Does anyone know where I can find some information on setting up a web hosting server with OS X Server? I'm not much of an engineer or IT guy at all, so any help would be great!
Also I set up the Quicktime streaming server BUT, when I open it it opens a web page and I have no idea what the log in and pass is! It's says in the manual I set that up already but I know I didn't! HELP!
Thanks!

The OSX Server manual tells you most of it. Tried opening it?

do you know anything about unix? cause os x is basically bsd.
chances are, the server platform will (or could possibly with some teaking) run any unix based application.
it comes bundled with ssh, apache, samba, etc etc...
you could probably read up on any unix tutorials and get the basic understanding of the system.
i've never used os x server so i don't know the intricate details and differences between the two...
but i know that the 1u rack x serve is one of the most beautiful looking rack servers ever made...
:)
i am trying to pick up 6 of them at the moment...but that is quite the chunk of change...

Yeah... like I said I'm not as bright in the programming dept. I did open it but it reads as if you've got a degree in PC-LAN and I don't.
I'm looking for some online resources. I found something at OReillys but it seems incomplete. Any help?

Thanks spark. I look into the Unix stuff. Good luck with those servers of joy! : )
