animated vector graphic

  I try to use flash and after effects to do some animation but i dont really like the final video (a lot of problems to cut background and figures) any sugestion about working with vector images? another option to dont use flash? any pluign to after or some way to use 3d programs to do the job.

  you can model and animate in 3d max and use the cell shaded filter plugin to make it all turn out looking like a cartoon.
