has anyone played this? my roommate has the ps2, and bought the network adapter last month. I've been pretty hooked on playing online. he took it away for about 2.5 weeks but I pull it from his room and bring it down to the living room where the network hub when i can. just trying to see if there are any other NT posters out there that play?

i am just a computer game geek. played diablo2 and wolfenstein and quake2 religiously.

I've yet to play the game online, only through fear that i'd spend way too much time playing with my PS2 rather than me' girlfriend.
She wouldn't like that.

socom is pretty sweet.. playing in teams of up to 8 per team with the headset is pretty nuts. But the only problem is dealing with cheaters with gamesharks (can't die, walking through objects), but other that, it's sweet. You should definitely check it out if you have ps2. I'm scared to play games on my computer since i'm already on it for so much i'd never leave it. at least with the ps2 i get my a couple steps of exercise to my couch.

Yup Dave, I have that game too. I am only going to buy ps2 games if they are able to be played online from now on.

ive been playing this game since it first came out..love it..cant stop..although i did for a few months when the wave of glitchs cheaters all bought their codebreakers and gamesharks...im always on late nights e7..desert glory ..
