Did anyone else see that picture on the cover of the globe and mail here in Canada. Was it just me or was the the most disturbing picture ever to be on the cover of a newspaper?

jesus thats sick. Shock tactics preparing us for the onslaught
- bhawk0
That what I thought. My jaw drop to the ground and I went silent for like five min. after seeing for the first time. I don't know if it is right putting it on the cover like that. Kind of destroys any sympathy one might have for the the Palastinians. I don't I guess I'm still speachless. will try to explain later.

This might help even things out bhawk
WARNING: THIS LINK IS HARROWING. seriously!
you've been warned
- quamb0
compare that to the glam design of qbn's certified link...
aah, life here on nt is oh so good...
*throws up* :(
- ilmarine0
yep. sure is better to stick to my trusty NT. ignorance is a bliss.
seriously now, evil is the nature of the man. but it still hurts when you see this kinda images. violence is never an option to end something but it is alway a start of something even more terrible.

holy shit sexypixel, that is disturbing.

that is reality. Heavy. The human mind, however, has an incredible ability to numb itself emotionally from shocking images after enough viewings. bizarre.

Israel stole Palestinian lands...what the fuck do they expect. They are the real terrorists, the only difference is that they have uniforms and a blank check from uncle sam.

the leadership on both sides is pure fuckin evil.
my brother in law was in palestein last winter and saw equal horrors brought to you courtesy of the israeli army....
tanks homing in on kids...the whole bit...ive seen his photos...fuckin scary.....the sad sad sad thing is that the vast vast majority of people on both sides are the victims...
both israeli and palestinian....
captives of the fear, hatemongering and bullets and bombs.shhh..
quiet...if you listen closely enough..
you can hear hope dieing.
- bhawk0
Ya the reason why I posted this was that I don't think that the media should show these images unless they show all the images the horrors commited by both sides. I don't know what to think really any more. I would try to be all elquent, but my mind is blown. By the way thanks for the link to the counter images.

Its a shitty thing to say but its best to try and not think about it, it will just end up driving you mad as theres not much we can do about it. Just live your life as best you can and be thankful its not you over there. make the most of it

I don't really let it get to me too much. It just frustrates the hell out of me, sometimes. It's amazing too how quick the media left Iraq now that the fighting is over. When all the real dirt is happing now. And we public don't know shit. Probably because it's K-OS. But that's another kettle of fish.

The Palestinians are not the same as the rebel alliance.
its the title of a punk song that embodies my stance on the issue

A friend of mine who is a camera man for HBO was killed last week by the israli army, as he was screaming at the top of his voice "british jouralist, dont shoot"
as a result all forign media workers have to now sign a waver, absorbing the isralis of all responsibility if they kill you
- unknown0
I forgot to add...
WHAT THE FUCK?
- bhawk0
Are you serious. That's the most insane thing I've heard yet. My condolences. When it ever gona end. We need to do something. Would anybody be intrested in colabing on some sort of design project? Posters and stecils.

omg, ya, I saw it yesterday too! and I was like -- holy crap -- that is the worst picutre I have ever seen of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict ever! in all the years, I 've never seen the mdeia show a picture like that, they usually show medics and stretchers, flashing lights etc.... not a guy's face in his lap and stuff! damn!
Very bold move by the Globe and Mail.
