Just use the 'unloadMovie' command and make sure you add the right level number...
- canadian0
ok! how do i find the level number? how do you figure that part out?
- canadian0
I never understood how Levels number themselves. How does this work? It is only calling a swf one level deep but when I click on that new swf I need it to unload.

NAMEOFMOVIECLIP.unloadMovie();

That unloads even the parent stage.

target? level? Oh god. someone help.

When you create an .swf it is given level number 0.
When you load an swf you can assign it to a level. Select the 'load Movie' command from teh actions palette. You'll see to input boxes, URL and level. You can have any level number you like, but keep it simple, start from 1.
When you use the 'unload /movie' command there'll be a input box in the actions palette that'll allow you to enter teh level number you want to remove...
