How come we didn't see these yesterday in your post there, awsome. I wouldn't worry to much about it, but to ask is always nice.

Unless your artwork is going to wind up as a pepsi campaign I doubt anyone would ever notice. Your vector artwork is simple enough that It doesn't resemble a photo at all anyway.
As for what is exactly legal and what isn't - I'm not 100% sure but generally I think it has to do with "the likeness" of your work to the original.

if its a recognisable likeness you are liable to be farted upon.
ask them if they mind and they'll probably be cool.

thanx bhawk, I'm in the process of killing darlings and create new ones. these two was just some ideas in the less and more direction. see the original 'poster help'-thread. more to come. it is actually good to have a critique that says 'nr. 21' and like. then I go into that again and see things on a new way. 'why did he like that one... hmmm... ahhh!'. much better than nothing and in some cases better than a detailed critique in my case. thanks folks.
as for vector legal, I guess everything is fine, but it's always nice to ask.
I'll ask them and seee what they say.
