there's always something fun going on dt:-)
head over to glueks irish pub by the target center.. cool place that gets pretty loud sometimes!
um, if you're up for a show, check out http://www.first-avenue.com/ for shows going on at first ave or http://www.thequestclub.com/
both are small venues dt minneapolis... um, dt there's tons of restaurants as well...
just go walking somewhere dt and you'll find something.

My suggestion would be to head over to Brit's English Pub. It's right downtown on Nicollet Avenue.
Good food. Good beer.

i dont live there anymore, but i remember chino latino on hennepin being pretty lush, as well the clown lounge in the basement of the turf club is a nice spot.

I've been planning cities to possibly job search and relocate too.... Minne's on the list, any people there have places with positions available for print and/or web? Or any pros and cons of working in the city?

Of course you could always visit the CC Club on Lyndale. Pitchers of Grainbelt are only 5 bucks and the punk chicks are pretty hot.

There's a lot of opportunities here, especially for interactive and web. I've lived here most of my life and currently work downtown. The only thing that sucks is paying for parking day in and day out, but other then that it's great... if you can get your employer to pay for parking even better.
I'm looking to move out west in the winter, but I'll definitely be returning here later on to settle.

what days you gonna be in town mang?
wednesday nights a the king and i on la salle (not far from you hotel) are where all the ladies go... a little smoky but definitely worth a visit later in the eve... thursdays and sunday at fuji ya in uptown are a good time. bevs is a nice joint for a quiet glass of wine - the servers are good people. email me if you want more info - minnehopeless hops this time of year.

if its warm out brits roof top is always full of ladies from the suburbs struttin their stuff.
if you feel like goin out for a walk - cruise over to my homeboy gene's new bike shop currently in construction on washington avenue and 1st avenue (next to cafe havana) have a beer, ask for gene, we'll get you pointed in the right direction.
