Do you speak dutch much?
- unknown0
no, but I speak french and English. I spent a bit of time at the willheim do kooning acadamy in Rotterdam, as a exchange with St Martins, and I never once had an issue with language. As Eddie Izzard said, asking a dutchman if he can speaking eglish is like asking you if you can count to 3

i'd recommend rotterdam.

yeah
it seems Rotterdam is booming, it is the place to be in the Netherlands these days, even more then Amsterdam.
Go for it kezza, a new chapter in your life.

stay home bud...
don't want to sound uninviting, but the market for designers etc. is completely dead at the moment. Lots of reorganisations, lots of good people sacked. Economy in to a recession, so hardly the time to relocate, if you don't fancy flipping burgers.see: http://www.delijst.net/delijst/O…

you should check this out:
http://www.bno.nl/en/it's the site of the Association of Dutch Designers (BNO).
(It's a nice site btw)good luck! You probably don't want to here this, but I know it's pretty tough to find a job in this line of bussiness these days... but since you're from da UK it might be in your advance...
- unknown0
stewardez, thats what I kinda thought, that being from the UK might be to my advantage...
what do you know of this place?
http://www.bsur.com/index03.asp
Im thinking of applying for their senior design position

Folkert just left at BSUR(to work at QUA), so maybe that is his former position, not sure tho. I am sure there are still positions available for someone who has such high qualifications as you have, kingkezza.

BSUR has an excellent rep. Especially in the field of concepting, so make sure that you emphasize your abilities in that area especially.
Goodluck!

Rotterdam is the place now...I'm not saying this because I live there but if you want to work in the field of design Rotterdam has much more possibilities and the people are more open to new talent. Too bad I don't have any openings I know about, for Rdam hotspots, check my website: iconique.com
