Oi!
Doing a fairly large display. 35" x 66".
I have done displays this size before, but most of the elements I would do in Illustrator (eps). Problem is, this one is all photoshop... no way around it.
Question is... If I set this up @ 50% 300 dpi - will it print okay at 200%? It doesn't have to be perfect, but the gooder the better. I just don't want this to look like a Monet or something.
Answer me!

gorbie, i've done a lot of large outputs frm photoshop. in general, images of a resolution of 150dpi come out fine with most output processes. i prefer lambda prints for their smootheness. anyhow, i usually build them at half size at double the resolution and output them at 200% with no problems. i do usually get a test swatch (just small strips of the image) output to make sure all is well. hope this helps.

the large format printer i use asks for the ps files as 60 dpi. i thought it would look like #Q$ but they turn out fine. guess it depends on the printer

I'm on a tight deadline here. I won't have a whole lot of proofin time.
There are a lot of elements on this fucker so I am trying to keep the file size down as much as possible.
You think it'll print okay @150dpi?
I'm gonna take your word for it!
And blame you if it looks bad!
