Does any one no any good ones? I think my isp is acting up, but of course they think the problem is on my end. Is there any way to get a true acurate speed of my modem? I have done the usual, speedtest.com but they are all the way in texas. I am on the east coast. no that should make a diffrence, but?

your isp should have a test page with video or something on theyre server for you to test on. If they dont call them all a pack of cock sucking homos

maybe ftp something and see the speed on that?

I get two entirely different results from both of those sites.

paulrands suggestion is the best so far, and calling them cock sucking homos is a close second. just never forget that you are rigth and they are homos and everything will be fine

YA i don't know how many of you are in Canada. But I'm with bell sympatico, there service has always been kinda good until the last month or so. Two weeks ago I was having the same problem. I am on 300kps DSL hook up. But two weeks ago it was more like a 28k modem. I call them three times and each time the insisted that the problem was on my end saying that I have a virius and so on. So I'm like oh shit a virus! Spend the night backing my shit up on my secondary hard drive reformat and install windows, go online hmm still slow. Call bell again talk to a guy for another hour and runs me thru all the same hoops and the finaly he goes to the guy to check out my system. I wait for like ten minutes. He comes back. Sir, we seem to have problem with you connection it show you are uploading and downloading at the full 3megs per sec. Im like wow my connections never been that fast. And I aint downloading anything. So long story short I had to wait five days with out a connection had to put all clients on hold. It was fine a few days ago and again now it blows.

there is no such thing as accurate speed test. the speed of a network is determined through many factors, the server location, your bandwidth etc. so you cant determine the accurate speed. similarly the speed of your connection differs from one speed test site and another.
i tested my internet connection at three different speed test site
