on friday i was made redundant.
it would be all to easy for me to feel depressed...lost my bird, my job and my flat in the last two months but im looking at it as a positive thing. im leaving london and going back up north to scotland for a couple of months to get my head together then im off to australia for a year. wish me luck.
thanks again to everyone here for helping those monotonous days go by and it was good to make friends in the flesh though the newstoday drinkathons.
if there are any designers from melbourne who read this and fancy hooking up and showing me where all the nice ladies are then get in touch.

Chook!!! No way!!! I think I am a jinx! I was made redundant 2 weeks ago and it truely sucks! Sorry to hear about that. Are you heading back to Nairn?
It's the same everywhere. I've been to so many Recruitment agencies asking for work and there is nothing going.
As the old saying goes another door closes, another door opens. Good luck! ;)

condolenscences mate, but you should've made yourself unexpendable, that's what i tell my workers. perhaps if you'd spent less idle time on the PV-AN and got down to some serious bizness you might have avoided the drop. i hope your trip to visit the maharishi in scotland sets your cranium in order. you should look up the tibetan centre Samye Ling when yer there, i went there 6 years ago when i was cleaning-up, it helped me, i met mickey dolenz and samantha from the golden shot. they helped me lot, i thank you. one thing i can't understand is why all you jocks want to go to alcatraz anyway?? shithole. good luck. shimishia

cool! what's the plan? A bit of travelling? I would I recommend you take in the sites of Dingwall,
best place to stay The National Hotel, (bring your own blankets);
best place to drink The Knotty Pine Bar (remember to bring a wepon for you own saftey!);
best place to dine Dea's Cafe (make the best sausage rolls and macaroni pies);
actually best to avoid the palce altogether!!!! ;)

Don't wait. Go there now if only to catch the large portion ofthe aussie rules football season, culminating in the grand final in september.

Revolver used to be a good club where you might find some nice ladies... don't know what's good now though.
Melbourne designers are probably offline by now. Bump this again at 8 in the morning and you might have more luck getting hold of them...

dita..lol, thanks for the tips. i will indeed check those nuggets out, im thinking about buying a time out guide to dingwall anyway. carver, thank you for the advice about my expendability, fully agree, but to be honest i wouldn't have given my company an ounce of my spare time. maybe if they had given me respect and appreciation and treated me like a human being then yes...maybe...phew *rant over*... this place is full of cunts and i wanted out...my dream has come true.
