Hello there, unfortunately Kioken NY has been gone for good for quite a while now..myself and Otto greenslade were running the UK office but we're calling it a day and persuing our own brands now...
and no i don;t just post my own stuff here...I read quite alot of what goes on here but please understand that I have a business to run so unfortunately I cannot spend as much sime as i would like going through the numerous online communities posting stuff all the time.
thanks for the feedback though.

I like the tooltips. Its a nice added touch. I am trying to remember what the old site loooked like and I can't remember for the life of me.

Onyro - How come you get to show the sites that Kioken NY did within the Onyro site?
I can understand it when you were Kioken UK and you were sharing a 'worldwide' portfolio, but it's a bit misleading to have it in the Onyro portfolio.
- Duane0
my 2¢
if ant did the work, why can't he show it? i realize that it may have been done by a different studio, but it's a hell of a lot better than having an empty book because he started at a new company. i think it's fairly standard practice. as long as it's noted that it was done elsewhere it doesn't bother me - it validates his skills.
- DonnieTV0
I competely agree, but I don't think he had any hand in the Kioken NY stuff, which is a bit off.
You should be able to show work that you did in other studios, but not stuff that you didn't do.
If you did do anything on those projects - then apologies to you Onyro.
- Duane0
i see your point donnie and agree.

sounds like your guessing?
- DonnieTV0
Not really StyleJunky - on Praystation's site he mentions his name and one other guy who worked on Bad Boy and Motown.
I'm just not as arrogant to think that I can't be wrong.
- DonnieTV0
Oh and one other thing - the post saying "I'm busy running a business" smacks of real arrogance.
I suppose all the little people here have much more time to waste.
- Onyro0
Hey guys, soory to come accross as being arrogant..i really didn't mean it that way..my appologies. I can understand what your saying about the sites..but I''ve had my hand in all of the sites that are noted..other than badboy...which i included just because as part of the team and founder of kioken uk it has been part of our portfolio for the past few years.
The main problem with the site at the moment is that I havent got round to writing the copy for the case studies for each specific project. It takes time but i'm gonna try and get all the details in there with who did what etc....
All the work we did at Kioken NY was by a group/team of people..nothing there was created just by 1 person so nobody can ever take full credit for anything...even though it may have seemed so in the past.
luckily i've worked on loads of sites over the last 5 years but have selected my personal favorites to showcase on Onyro. At the moment as it stands I give credit to where we produced the work but within the following weeks I'll be uploading the casestudies.
As for beeing busy we're currently workign on the new emirecords.co.uk website which we hope to launch within the next month. aside from that I'm working on the Lexus.gr site and doing a motion dv series...
and mentally preparign myself for my national service...
thanks a bu8nch for listening and again thank you very much for taking the time to check my work out.
all the best and soory if anybody took me the wrong way. no offence intended.
- DonnieTV0
I reckon you know if you had a big enough role in a project to name it on your portfolio.
It's up to your concience.
