hey everybody who's mac inclined I just bought a 12inch PB. Wondering about any tricks I should know, or tips for mac converts... danke
oh and I'm hooked into a 21 inch monitor and I have a couple ?s. First is there a way that I can set my mac up so that I can close the laptop and still keep the picture on my monitor and second can I turn the rez up to 1280x1024? I've tried it but it makes the screen tiny, and centered on my 21 inch.

resize your monitor's tube using the controls on the monitor..

yah I've tried that but it never fits correctly. There's about a 20% space of black nothing around my screen.

and get a pad so the keys dont f up the screen

Hey Krimzen...I'd advise against closing that monitor lid...just turn the screen brightness down. Apple warns that the screen should be open when operating because of heat.

just got myself a 15" and sync'd it up with my 22" - heavenly! just fool around with your monitor settings in your system preferences and you'll find something comfortable.
