PowerPoint Type Issue

Sad. But I am throwing together a PPT pres for our agency's annual meeting.
For some reason, some of the type is appearing with a jagged/bitmap-ish edge on it.
Anyone had this happen in this stellar program? And is there anyway to get rid of it?
thanks,

some fonts will come out that way.
if the font is not a "standard" font, check it in another app like photoshop, illustrator, flash or pretty much anything.
if it pixelates there, then you might need to try another font.can you get away with doing the presentation in flash? i just recently convinced our company to stop using PP and let me do presentations in flash. they look a lot nicer now. =)

My intro animation at the front end of this pres was built in Flash and then imported. But I need to make quick changes for people who change their mind every 2 sec.
The weird thing is that the type, when used on the master slide comes out fine. But the same typeface on the actual slide is the one misbehavin'.

Anyone else have an idea?

you might find that (hawk.... ptooie) powerpoint doesn't antialias text properly at certain sizes. If you're lucky you may find two or three "happy sizes" that the text looks fine at. If you're lucky. Which you're not, because you're already trapped in powerpoint. but you still have a chance...

thanks all. I will try a couple of different options (change size, font, etc.) and see if I can work around the problem.

if you don't have too much titles, or when you have the final copy, you can import them as jpg.
mmmh, powerpoint.
