thanks for everyones input...i now know that i am getting paid shit as a designer. but its still decent for entry level. and its damn hard to find a job in LA! Hope this helps anyone else out there trying to earn a salary.

Have you ever looked at salary.com? According to them I (we) are supposed to be making like 80k. They say the numbers are from actual HR research. If the sampling here is at all accurate, Salary.com is way high? Why? Are they interviewing larger companies?

no doubt, clayko. i've read those salary listings and i thought i was getting a thrashing. maybe it's just a lot of in-house designers (who typically make more money).
