maybe also mention to her to work on her portfolio now that she has the time
popping up windows you can't resize with horizontal scrolls, showcasing sites with broken links, or popping up windows that say "This site is under construction and will be available soon " - is only going to hurt her chances, perhaps even with jobs she might have gotten otherwise
put in work to get some work

joyride, they mustve done that today. my hosts server was hacked. looks like maybe it is fixed again... minus all of my files et cetera. guess my hatemail today finally reached them. heheh.
CX, yea. same position. we are about to have 2 or three openings possibly. hit me an email if you really are interested. i am trying to help exadors brother get in here if he wants it, but there still might be a position left that i could help you with.
as for freelance, competition is moderate. there is only one decent agency in town that does strictly graphics. so if you are really serious about freelance, then you might could do well.

muchos gracias on talking to my bro about that job..
just got off the phone with him, and he's super interested..think all he needs to take care of now is a few details..
he's gonna give you a call or email soon and ask what sort of stuff he should bring to an interview...
also, he'll probably need to know what airport to go to, and directions to give to the taxi driver on how to find you guys

no problem! i will help your brother out in any way i can. if he does decide to cruise down this way to interview, then he is welcome to stay at my place. and if he comes in later in the day, then i wouldnt mind picking him up at the airport either. it'll save a little cash for drinking later. =)and edvin, should you be interested, i would be happy to do the same for you. like i said, there are gonna be a few positions opening up soon. 2 for screenprint artists and one for a signs/posters/structurals/vinyl artist.
one bad thing i will warn you guys about though. the company will probably not help you move. they didnt help me and i was only 2 hours away.
as for "canucks and work permits" i really dunno. not something i know about really. sorry guys.

Ok, as for visas, Nate said that all you need is a graphics degree, and or 3 years work experience, and a job offer, + $50.
