haga said this about sharing my client work on the forum:

"Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't feel right to display this kind of "work in progress" on an open forum. To me a company logo is little too... intimate for that."

    What do you think?

Well really depends on who you work for. I could get in trouble for something like that. But it's a slim chance anyone would find out. Here is an excerpt from our basic webdesign contract.

Any client information will be kept confidential between the companies and will be used for the sole purpose of performing the contractual services as herein defined in this document.

I left out some other stuff, but basically we could get sued if we shared our logo design with someone else besides the client. Could be very serious stuff in some cases. Public design forums would be the worst place to do it too. But if it's a ma & pop shop & you dont have a contract, show away!

thats just what I was thinking RocaBaby. I feel afraid and very unproffessional...

I asked my client about posting it on a forum and he was ok with it, but you never know what people visiting here can do with your design-in-progress. Next thing is your clients competitor steals the logo.

I will be very careful about client-stuff on open forums from now. I'm a pro you know.
