for all you font loving font lovers out there...
i'm using this font 'FIRTH', which i found at dafont.com. i can't really use it because it doesn't have a lowercase set and has a wacky extended set. i've used a font very similar before that had a family. any ideas?

I don't know, but Gill Sans is pretty close.

you can use the "Nobel Bold" (made in 1935) by
Sjoerd Hendrik De Roos.
In 1993 Fred Smeijers made the digital version.Dutch Type Library:

oh, okay. but the Dutch Type Lybrary is not the cheapest way to get your fonts.
I once bought the Nobel Regular and Nobel Bold, and the damage was about € Euro 200,--
But they're the best classic fonts you can get.
