Anybody know any good sites for researching the stock market or useful information for a newbie.
Any stocks you guys are following? Thinking about doing a bit of legal gambling.

if i remember correctly, most of the online trading sites have some good historical information.
like http://www.ameritrade.comNot sure if you need to put money in your account to open one though.
Also check out the market data providers like
http://www.reuters.com/

what about day trading? been looking for some info on it but I can't find much. I got 30 commision free trades for 1 month so I figured I may want to give it a shot.

Free Bio Tech stock tip:
Watch for talk about mergers in producers of spray insulin.

if i remember the just of my clients from a couple years back when i was actaully working on wall street, there's no money in day trading... except for when the markets were ignorantly over-inflated about 4 years ago.
But hen again, it's all a gamble, so good luck.
