i am currently working on a company's website..it would be appreciated if you guys could give me feedback on:
http://keiformcom.powweb.com/tem…
What do you guys suggest? The middle would be flash in the future and do you think i should remove the 'who are we' and 'request catalogue'? Or maybe remove the bottom copyright bar to seem more balanced?
Thanks.

forgot to mention.....only got the front page up right now...

looks nice but I don't really get a golf-type feel when I look at it.
:P

looks ok to me, not my kind of thing but thats just personal, on a technical, your content doesn't match up with the bg gif here, os9, ie5... its a bit low.
I didn't actually notice the 'who we are' bit cos its so low on 1024, I think lose it or make it fit in, unless you know your users are on big screens.

agreed totally, I actually thought it was a technology co. until I saw the golfer bit at the bottom and read the text next to it.

im shocked, devastated from your answer. now im in the process of denial and soon depression. :)
maybe adding golf clubs in the middle would add more to the golf type feel? i don't know, the more i look at it, the more it feels like not a business oriented site...

Dude! don't listen to me! ;)
what the hell do I know. I guess the obvious thing to do would be put some nice golf imagery in there, but whatever.
Just giving you my initial impression is all. I just think if that's what the web site is geared toward you want people to know that right off and not have to guess at it.
Love the nav and all and the design is very good, just don'e get a golf feel.
Maybe it's the logo as well, been seeing those eagle-type crests everywhere.
again I'm just bored and filling the rest of my day until I get outta work so please feel free to ignore me!
:P

rasko
your right on that, i didn't even notice until now..thanks..
well this golf company will be using the latest technology inside the golf clubs. so i thought of giving it a high tech look.....
does it seems that the high tech style here is too much?... any suggestions?
- unknown0
yeah maybe too high tech. I think the background image is the thing making it look like the "High-tech" cliche.
:P

I think it breathes high tech ... but throw in some more golf imagery to solidify the industry genre. I didnt know it was for golf at first either. Looks pretty good.
- gcabral0
oh.. it's a golf site?
- snocat0
pixelfrog
well the logo certainly won't be the eagle thing, its just a placeholder.
im waiting to get off work here too :P but i really appreciate your input....now i gotta find some way to make it look non-high tech and more golf related..
if somone goes to this website intentionally, they should expect that this company is a golf company and with the high tech presentation.....maybe the first impression would be that it's a cutting edge golf company?
or golf related themes should be classic, gentlemen-like? anyone?
- snocat0
what imagery or theme do you guys see when you hear golf?
classic? gentlemen-like? maybe a style like stanford.edu or many college websites?
- kpl0
keep the techy icky icky.
but add something golf-related above the fold...other than the color green.
- Nirvous0
clubs balls grass flag cup tee shoes bags
that sort of thing
- kpl0
and, oh god no, please don't use the farm. nothing wrong with stanford.edu. except for the fact that it's stanford. and that fucking tree...
golf stuff nowadays is less heraldic and more american middle-class... polo shirts, khaki jeans, crap like that. so university sites seems too formal.
- luke0
i also think that the site should spot the GOLF theme more.
else it looks really good to me!
you should reduce the height of the copyright bar on the bottom that should give it more balance .
depression STOP
work CONTINUEkeep it up, i´m sure you will make that thing rolling!
good luck...
- ribit0
god it's so looking like a design for a webhosting site...
I thought it was referring to software 'drivers' until I finally scrolled down to the little golfer...
it's nice... just seems like it's thinking about something else...
- snocat0
kpl
whats wrong with standford's fucking tree?
- snocat0
thanks everyone for the comments...
mostly everyone think its a high tech site....i m gonna tone down the middle or replace it with a golf course image....
