UK hip hop mag redesign

Just finished a few mock ups for the redesign of this uk hip hop / culture mag.
Redesigned the logo and completlely changed the style of the deisgn.
Designed the feature so its easy / clear to read (no visual noise!!!).....kept the colours to a minimum, fonts to a minimum etc (one font for headings, one font for copy).....just aiming to give it an underground style and give it a sorta low budget handmade sorta vibe , rather than this hi tech photoshop filter design that it has at the mo.....since when has hip hop / 'urban' stuff been hi tech? no relation there whatsoever!!! (in my opinion anyway)
anyways heres the url....
id love to hear your thoughts, anyone got any suggestions on how could i improve on it?

Great design work!
A third colour might be an added bonus, used lightly, maybe to accent certain features...such as page headers, images or body copy. For example, a splash of blue in the right hand page could draw the reader into the page. Might need to play around with this idea...
I did find that the 'un' in the logo threw me off a bit...the 'u' could be clearer?
Otherwise, fine work sir.

yeah i like your suggestions bluejam, im going to try that out
stylejunky, cheers man...going to be using that style from now on, but each flyer will sorta evolve as time goes by

sorry, didn't mean to sound like an arse, and I wasn't shouting rip! I think its working in that it looks more ' handmade', but I'd probably push it some more and leave some of your favourite techniques alone, ie; the 'vector drip' and the 3d 'shaft' text.
