meta tag or javascript?
are they both compatable on all platforms?

I always use javascript, I'm pretty sure its cross platform.

I uses both together in pages I need to redirect.
Maybe it is over kill, but it works in all browsers.

server side or .htaccess is better for this than using javascript or meta.
not too mention more versatile.
