Well I maybe down in the dumps about losing my job but I have something to look forward to now. My holiday to Toronto! I know I shouldn't be going but it's all paid for so sod it!!!! Anyone want to recommend any bars/nightclubs that are worth checking out?

Anything really, live music, somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere.

depends on type of music you're into...
but i have enjoyed the docks, the guv, dirk's bar, fluid lounge...
you could walk around richmond/duncan/adelaide and check out what bar/club you like and have a beer...play pool.

go bar hopping in little italy...
grooviest bars and nite life in all of TO....college street..
between bathurst and ossington..i suggest bar italia, and lava lounge..
also, a fave spot, and voted one of the 4 coolest corners in north america by UTNE reader is
the Diplomatico cafe (its a bar/restaraunt)...
best patio in alllll of toronto...
great food...cheep pints...its awesome..
probably the best place in the whole city to socialize and people watch whilst having a pint or two..

stay away from Eaton Center.
Queen West has good shopping. Only West of Bathurst. Or you can start around Queen and Spadina area and keep walking west.
There's a great fish and chip place called Chippy's across the street from Bellwood park.
