Im a musical person by nature so I have chosen that as my profession. However, I have a love of design that goes back to my graf days in the early 80's. Being from Chicago I have come across and picked the brains of some very dope artist (Slang, DZINE...etc.) and the one thing they told me is do stuff out of love. That brings me to me question (finally), I want to try motion graphics...just for fun....so where do you guys suggest I start...I have access to any program thats out there and I have a basic understanding of illustrator and photoshop but where do I go from there....any (real) suggestions?

dude use photshop and illustratot and any other creative inspiration, create a set of story boards, keep em in layers then when its where you like it take it into aftereffects and try and get from each of your frames to the other... aftereffects is a rad place to start movin stuff

yeah get after effects...make music and mark beats, bars and and key points etc. learn to make stuff move and how to use effects then go nuts
