i'm your man - just got a sony mz-n10 kind of recently- there's one place - E-BAY.
So long as you go through an established place you can't go wrong. I paid half price when they were barely even out!!
also - anyone know about this while we're on the topic!?
am after a new microphone for my md - this looks nice but I wouldn't mind knowin what some people in da know know !

mine just broke the other day for no bloody reason..it wont read any disc anymore..says blank disc everytime..the reader device could b faulty..how expensive are they to get them fixed? is it worth repairing them or get a new one? some help pls.

wouldn't it be covered under warranty?
I reckon ring / e-mail some sony place / their site etc and ask. Sounds like manufacturing f-up.

if you're london based i have a sony component piece im going to get rid of (MDS-JE520) and a HEAP (about 150-200) discs - about 25 blanks and the rest recorded on (random mixture from sabbath to lee scratch perry)
otherwise richer sounds in the UK are very good for MDs of all shapes and sizes
