NN and IE Flashplayer differences?

  I have a root movie that loads one of 3 teaser movies every 8 seconds. The teaser movie is preloaded by the root; once the teaser has finished preloading, a function is set off that counts for 8 seconds. When the 8 seconds are up, another teaser is loaded into place of the previous one.

  Here's my problem: on IE6 this works fine, while on NN6+ and Mac (IE5.2, Safari) the preloader skips and the teasers are forced to play before being fully downloaded. All movies are MX and all players are 6,0,79.

  I've tried multiple computers and clearing browser cache, yet this seems to always be the issue. Does anyone else notice a difference between browser players? Otherwise, does anyone have any suggestions to my problem?
