ok , i dunno if it is just in canada, but coke has changed there image a bit.......they put some stoopid yellow swosh on the can. not only does it look dumb but also, i think they are using a different metal in the can......it is thinner than the last one.
and i think that coke tastes different now too. maybe it is just my head, i dunno?
thoughts?

I just noticed that too! I don't think it taste differently though, but then again I always lose in coke or pepsi-contests.

coke did this re-design thing a few months ago in the states.
the yellow is part of their new DYNAMIC ribbon.
i guess they want to be seen as being at the forefront of cola technology, you would have thunk that they learned their lesson after the new coke mess.

How dynamic is the ribbon, for instnace if they change they're logo again next month and old cans are still out there in circulation, will they update themselves?

i haven't seen these new coke cans... but, if they have yellow ribbon-like stripes on them, maybe Coke is trying to support the troops, since yellow ribbons usually do that.
just a thought.

I liked this one, reminds me of my childhood day. I like the thin stripes and the "Coke" logo looks kind of happy.
