your site is nice.we didnt have alot to work with since this guy is just starting out. any pictures we did have was due to us going out there and taking them ourselves.
this was a first for us (raceing site) so it was fun.

well a huge high five, racing sites are fun as hell

Its a cool site, but i think its not hitting the racing FEEL much... almost seems like a cross between a SOftware Site, K10K and racing elements.
With these types of sites, aka racing / nascar/ motorcross you need to not be so grid like.Believe me.. grids a great.. but with this one... the grid IS the site, and not Underlying the site.
you can still layout stuff based on the grid... but this site... is GRID GRID and not CRAZY fun RACE.... i see structure in a site that should be Wild Power.
Take a look at other sites... like
http://xtr.shimano.com/
there is an underlying grid system used, but the Product and style is promenent and it gives you that powerful crazy feel.. your site gives you an office space feel.I think your site is nice, but not... working for the target audience... I would rethink your navigation and make it more interactive and not a box. Pretty much keep the structure but loose the defined grids.. and integrate ....

it's really nice.
you should preload those rollover button images
then again, not everyone's connections is as slow as mineI'd have to agree that it doesn't bring you the racing feel though
we want some burning tires in the background ( ;

I agree with qburt - where's the speed? where's the power and thrill?
Put it this way - replace all your photos with gray boxes - does the site then look like it has a "racing" feel to it?
- josimar10
what the hell kind of comment is that?
grey boxes! He has pics of cars and he's used them... duh
- jevad0
dope!
- smartK0
oh yeah the cars you made in 3dstudio - they're awesome!

well thanks everyone for the feedback.
we are going to replace the top banner on the home page with some flash (tires burning and all!) actually, i dont know what we are going to do just yet, but we have plans for it.
i loved that site that qburt pointed to, but this site was free and we didn't have a lot of time to spend on it.

love it.
i think what Nirvous was trying to say was that there is a JavaScript error on the home/entrance page. a quick glance at the code shows that you are calling a image preload function in the onload event of the body tag, but that function isn't anywhere on the page - hence "Object expected".
